Domain pricing methodology

Selfless v2 treats domains as the product. Every dollar comes from a registrar API or pricing page we fetch ourselves.

Primary sources only. Porkbun API (api.porkbun.com), Dynadot and Namecheap HTML where reachable, OVH public catalog (GBP→USD via ECB/Frankfurter). No TLD-List or hand-typed constants.
All-in display. Namecheap and Spaceship add $0.20 ICANN at checkout — we show register/renew/transfer with that fee included and label it.
Term minimums. Multi-year charges (e.g. .ai) show the real outlay, not a fake per-year price.
Coupons. Only codes returned by registrar sources (e.g. Porkbun API coupons[]) with a source URL.
Anomaly hold-back. Large jumps, missing rows, or bot-challenge pages keep the last good price — we never publish empty data.
Daily ingest. Vercel cron hits /api/cron/ingest-domains (CRON_SECRET) before registry events such as the Nov 1 .com wholesale change.
